I've been in the weather biz for 40 years now, starting out doing TV weather for CBS affiliate WCCO in Minneapolis. I was blessed to have been tutored by some of the best pioneers in TV meteorology and Milt, a former US Army Air Corps meteorologist who cut his teeth forecasting weather over Europe for the B-17s of the 8th Air Force in World War II. I went on to log 25 years in TV meteorology and had side gigs in forensic meteorology for a consulting firm and fire meteorology with the South Dakota Wildland Fire Suppression Division. My hope is this site will help fill a need for those seeking local weather information in Cheyenne County, Nebraska, and surrounding areas, but please be patient. I'm new at this arena of weather presentation.
